What the what?! Another festival selection for Inside The House?!?! We almost can't believe it. Our hilariously gross little film has found another home, this time in Seattle, WA at the BoneBat "Comedy of Horrors" Film Fest. Here's a little bit about the fest:
The BoneBat "Comedy of Horrors" Film Fest is an annual evening of giggles and gore, where we present the finest in independent Comedy/Horror features and shorts from around the world, amazing live music and prizes galore, all hosted by Steve and Gord of The BoneBat Show
BoneBat announced their official film selections for their 2018 Fest happening on April 14 in episode 163 of their podcast. Gve it a listen HERE. Sadly, the Daisy Dukes crew is already scheduled to attend another festival the same weekend, so we won't be in attendance this year. But if you're in the area, we hope you'll go, because this seriously looks like it's going to be an awesome event.
P.S. We're kinda in love with their poster...

The ladies of Daisy Dukes could not be more pleased to share the news that Inside The House has been selected to screen at the Madeira Fantastic FilmFest in Funchal, Madeira Island. Here's a little bit about this exciting, spooky fest:
Madeira Fantastic FilmFest project is the diffusion and dissemination of film culture of fantastic and horror genre in Madeira in order to transmit, visually, through different types of art, culture and nature of the region.
This is the 2nd year for the Madeira Fantastic FilmFest. The event will take place on March 20th - 23rd. Sadly, the Daisy Dukes gang won't be able to attend but we'll be cheering the Fest on from afar!
Also, we translated the film into Portugese for the Fest *wink wink*
Inside The House, the 80's style slasher with a twist, by Daisy Dukes has been selected to screen at the Bloody Women! Women in Horror Month Festival in Dublin, Ireland this month. Here's what WiHM has to say about themselves:
Women in Horror Month (WiHM) is an international, grassroots initiative, which encourages supporters to learn about and showcase the underrepresented work of women in the horror industries. Whether they are on the screen, behind the scenes, or contributing in their other various artistic ways, it is clear that women love, appreciate, and contribute to the horror genre.
WIHM Dublin has been organising events since February 2016. This coming year sees the first Dublin festival to celebrate the 9th year of Women in Horror Recognition Month.
With over 50% of the film crew on Inside The House being females, we could not be more pumped to be a part of such an incredible movement and festival!
Wow, what an incredible time we had at the 2017 Ax Wound Film Festival. The panels, the presentations, the people, the movies, the magical little town of Brattleboro, VT and it's cold wintery weather; it was a perfect weekend. We were greeted with open arms by everyone we met and left having seen a ton of freaky films and having gained a ton of spectacularly spooky sisters. It's festivals like Ax Wound that remind you how awesome it is to be a filmmaker. Thank you to everyone who attended and to all who made the event possible. This one will always be special to us.
Inside The House, the 80's slasher throwback film by Daisy Dukes, has been selected to screen at the first ever American Horrors Film Festival. Here's what Bloody-Disgusting.com has to say about the channel behind this brand new festival...
American Horrors delivers nothing but the most raw, sick, and terrifying sh!t that other channels won't show you.
The founder of the channel and festival, Hart D. Fisher, say...
I ... create[d] the horror channel I always wanted as a horror fan growing up.
Well we're glad you did Hart! And in honor of you and all fans of gore out there we'd like to share with you a little picture of a practical effect from from Inside The House.
*SPOILER* This image gives a way a little, but it's totally worth it!
